El día 20 de agosto dará comienzo la edición número 66 de la Vuelta a España en Benidorm y finalizará el 11 de septiembre en Madrid.
Las primeras etapas recorreran el sur de la Comunidad Valenciana dando comienzo en Benidorm que acogerá por tercera vez en su historia la salida oficial .
Esta primera etapa recorrerán 16Km en una contrareloj por equipos con el marco de la Playa de Poniente.
En la segunda etapa los ciclistas recorreran 171.5Km entre La Nucía y Playas de Orihuela.
Finalmente en la tercera etapa la vuelta partirá hacia otras comunidades, empezando desde Petrer y acabando en Totana (Murcia) haciendo un total de 164Km.
