El equipo español se llevó dos medallas de plata, la primera con los ejercicios de aro y mazas y también de cuerda.
La rusa Eugenia Kanaeva se llevó 3 oros en aro, mazas y cinta.
La gimnasta más aclamada por el público Anna Bessonova se tuvo que conformar con 3 platas en los mismos ejercicios que Kanaeva.
Fueron alrededor de 3000 personas las que disfrutaron con el espectáculo que ofrecieron estas deportistas de máximo nivel mundial, y que hacen de Benidorm una apuesta segura por ser sede de eventos de este calibre.
