Manuel Cabezuelos, concejal de turismo, anunció ayer la creación de una nueva Concejalía a la atención de los ciudadanos europeos, residentes y turistas extranjeros.
“Hay muchos residentes europeos viviendo en Benidorm sin cobertura real” declaraciones de Cabezuelo en su visita a la Isla de Benidorm.
El concejal de Turismo presentó las propuestas de la Concejalía hasta las elecciones de 2011, referentes a captar nuevos mercados, la fidelización de los existentes así como otras medidas para mejorar la imagen turística.
La primera de las actividades en esta misma semana será la presencia del municipio en las ferias World Travel Market de Londres.
Además, la Concejalía de Turismo asistirá al Intur de Valladolid o la Feria EITBM (Feria de congresos) de Barcelona. El edil añadió que, «lo antes posible», se pondrá en marcha la creación del ente mixto ‘Turisme de Benidorm’, cuya segunda reunión de trabajo se producirá el 3 de noviembre y se haría oficial en Fitur 2010.
